Strawberry Banana Frozen Yogurt Pops

These easy popsicles are loaded with natural sweetness from fresh fruit and healthy protein from Greek yogurt. You can also experiment adding your favorite fruit, granola, nuts, or seeds.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen thawed)
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon of honey

Instructions:

  1. Puree strawberries and banana in a blender or mash using a fork or potato masher/pastry blender.
  2. In a small bowl, combine yogurt and vanilla extract (and honey if using).
  3. Using a popsicle mold, muffin pan, or paper cups, begin making the popsicles by alternating adding the fruit blend and yogurt. Distribute evenly among the molds.
  4. Insert popsicle stick into the top and place into the freezer.
  5. Freeze for 3-4 hours, or until frozen completely.
  6. Remove from molds and enjoy!
  7. Tip: Run mold under warm water for a few seconds to help remove popsicles from molds.
