
Makes 5 cups (or 10 servings)
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1 cup raisins or other dried, chopped fruit
Directions
- Preheat oven 300◦F
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the oil, honey, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
- Add the oats and almonds and stir to coat.
- Spread oats out onto a prepared baking sheet. Spread oats in an even layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes total. Stir oats halfway through.
- Remove from the oven, add fruit, tamp down and cool.
- Store in an airtight container.
