Chocolate Frozen Banana Chunks

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 graham crackers
  • Small plastic zipper bag

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet or 9×13-inch pan with parchment or waxed paper and set aside.
  2. Put graham cracker square(s) into a plastic zipper bag, close, squeezing out air.  Crush graham cracker with rolling pin. 
  3. Peel and slice bananas into 1-inch slices. 
  4. Place chocolate chips and oil in a deep 1-quart microwavable bowl or 1-quart liquid measuring cup. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. R.epeat until the chips are mostly melted but not all the way.       
  5. Remove from microwave and stir until smooth.      
  6. Using a spoon, place banana chunks into chocolate and coat with chocolate (you can put many in at a time).  Place on prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.      
  7. Freeze until firm.
