
No need to heat up the kitchen with these no-bake oatmeal peanut butter cookies! If you are not a fan of chocolate, the cocoa powder can be eliminated.
Servings: 18, 2 cookies per serving
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups dry oats
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder (omit if not using) and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and add the vanilla and peanut butter and stir until peanut butter is melted.
- Add the oats and stir well.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet covered with waxed paper or parchment paper.
- Chill for 1 hour.
