
This easy apple crisp is cozy, warm, and full of cinnamon-sweet flavor. With a crispy oat topping, this will become one of your favorite fall recipes.

Ingredients:
- 6 apples, peeled, cored and chopped (6-7 cups)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1½ teaspoons lemon juice
Topping
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup old fashioned oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small cubes
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8 baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, add chopped apples, 3 tablespoons sugar, 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir to combine, then transfer to the baking dish.
- In a separate mixing bowl, add topping ingredients of brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, salt, and butter. Use two forks or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the oat mixture until mixture forms pea sized clumps.
- Spread topping evenly over apples in the baking dish.
- Bake 40-50 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Refrigerate any leftovers within 2 hours.
