Easy Homemade Granola

Don’t spend money on store-bought granola when you can make your own tasty version at home!

Servings: 10 (1/2 cup servings)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oil 
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup almonds, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup raisins or other dried fruit

Directions

  1. Preheat oven 300F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the oats and almonds and stir to coat.
  4. Spread oats out onto a prepared baking sheet. Spread oats in an even layer.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, stir granola. Bake for another 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven, add fruit and stir.
  7. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
