
Don’t spend money on store-bought granola when you can make your own tasty version at home!
Servings: 20 (1/4 cup per serving)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup nuts of choice, roughly chopped
- 1 cup raisins or other dried fruit
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 300◦F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the oats and chopped nuts and stir to coat.
- Spread mixture out onto a prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
- Bake for 10 minutes, stir granola. Bake for another 10 minutes. Repeat until toasty and brown.
- Remove from the oven, add fruit and stir.
- Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
