Easy Homemade Granola

Don’t spend money on store-bought granola when you can make your own tasty version at home!

Servings: 20 (1/4 cup per serving)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oil 
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts of choice, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup raisins or other dried fruit

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the oats and chopped nuts and stir to coat.
  4. Spread mixture out onto a prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, stir granola. Bake for another 10 minutes. Repeat until toasty and brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, add fruit and stir.
  7. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
